Stylizer has completely changed my CSS development. I would recommend this CSS Editor to everyone!
Excellent list, I too use Notepad.
I’ve been using Notepad++ for all coding/css’ing for quite a while now. Will look into some of the editors in this list, Stylizer seems like the most decent editor. Will give it a shot, thanks!
mmhhhhh, jellyfish for mac is gone?!

Awesome collection of editors, really useful article for web designers of all areas of expertise!
very helpful, thanks
PSPad is and will be allways the best web developement tool i need
Lot of links, but I should say to create some nice CSS, you firstly need a brain
Then, you don’t really care about the editor itself. Depending on which computer I am, I can switch between notepad++ and textmate.
CSS is mostly a question of memorisation and helpers … most of the time don’t really understand what optimizing mean.

No coda?? It’s my fav
I use a programming IDE called Komodo – it has remote file editing, which I find incredibly useful for CMS based sites.
Thank you, useful links and like the look of stylizer… anything to make my job a little easier is always welcome!
Kris
I usually just edit my css with dreamweaver as I know most if not all the markup I would need to do my styling. It seems like these might be something useful for a person still learning css. The in browser changes in Stylizer seems useful except when you consider you have to check in IE6, IE7, IE8, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Safari anyways to make sure your code is browser compliant across the board. So it really doesn’t save you the page refreshes that it claims to do.
Would be nice if you labeled the tools if they are for mac only or also available for pc, because some of them are not.

Where’s Coda ??? http://www.panic.com/coda/
I think is the best web development app.
Subethaedit is missing too.
I’ve tried almost everything, including the excellent coda mentioned above, but Subethaedit is still the best for my web dev.
Stylizer is just the absolute fastest and best css web development app
I use editpad lite still. Hard to find a good visual editor I like. I’ll have to try some on this list.
